Why did you become a stylist?

Growing up in a small country town in Far North Queensland, my path into the world of styling is quite a unique one. From a very early age I formed a passion and eye for style & fashion, where often could be found amongst fabric, sketches and patterns in mum’s sewing room or finding new ways to wear my outfits to be individual and unique.
Around 5 years ago, I had a moment where I didn't feel fulfilled in my career of civil engineering, so I started to look at different aspects that I loved and I came back to fashion and styling. After studying Masters of Professional Styling at Australian Style Institute in Melbourne, I decided to take a leap of faith and pivoted my career from engineering into styling.

What do you love about movement?

I love that there are so many different forms of movement, allowing you to invest in some self care for yourself at all stages of life. Movement can give you an aspect of routine though also makes you feel so good!

What makes you smile?

Witnessing the magic of a sunrise or a sunset

Being near the water

My loved ones

Seeing the magic created when that ah-huh moment happens with my amazing client's where they choose to step into the best version of themselves

Being part of the magic to create beautiful and emotion evoking images

What advice do you have for other women to love the skin they are in?

Love yourself with the same amount of love and attention as you would your best friend. It is when we can love who we are unconditionally that we can see the beauty in others on a whole different level.
