(Yes…it is ok to do Pilates when pregnant)
Pilates is one of the best methods for maintaining your physical wellbeing while pregnant. It keeps you feeling strong and supported as your body changes to accommodate your baby.
All our Pilates classes are safe for pregnant women to attend. Your instructor will provide you with modifications for some exercises. This is dependent on the stage of your pregnancy and how you are feeling in each class.
The benefits of Prenatal Pilates
Pilates is an essential activity to ensure the health and mobility of your body during pregnancy. The change your body experiences will present differently for everyone. These pregnancy Pilates classes will prepare the body for these extra demands. The extra load and pelvic pressure that come with growing a gorgeous little human.
Specific exercises should be avoided, but, there are so many you SHOULD be doing. Too often pregnancy and exercise have been misrepresented. You can start Pilates when pregnant and you can do Pilates in early Pregnancy and beyond. It is important to understand you need your strength now more than ever. Let’s get you strong Mumma!!
