All Mummas need some Pilates.

Postnatal Pilates is the perfect way to safely return to exercise while rebuilding the female body after birth. We aim to reawaken your mind-body connection, with a strong focus on rebuilding your deep abdominal connection and strengthening your postural chain. All of which support you in the daily rigour of carrying babies and running around after small children.

BPM is a family-friendly studio and your little one is welcome regardless of their age - we just ask that you bring appropriate entertainment to keep them busy during the class and ensure they aren’t impacting the experience of any of your class mates.

Our Mumma + Mini classes are a great way to meet other Mums too, with postnatal bub-friendly class options Tues - Thurs.

 Postnatal Pilates - Why its essential for new mums

Postnatal Pilates is something we hold near and dear to our hearts. It is specifically designed Pilates programming that caters for the new Mum with a consideration of breath, stretch and strength. The postpartum journey is different for everyone but at the very least a body after birth will have experienced strain and stretch. We aim to target those sore shoulders from breastfeeding and nursing. The loss of glute (bum) muscles thanks to those muscle relaxant hormones and sedentary feeding times. And the deep urge you have to stretch and lengthen all those tight muscles.

Mumma + Mini Matwork

Postnatal or feeling the postpartum struggles of re-entering group exercise? You are welcome at this functional matwork class. This postnatal Pilates class is tailored to rebuild the female body after birth.

Little ones are welcome or you can fly solo. There is no age limit for minis. We ask that you bring the appropriate entertainment to keep them busy during the class.

Postnatal Pilates Online Course

Our 8-week postnatal exercise program is designed especially for mummas. It has a strong focus on rebuilding the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles after pregnancy. We also incorporate sequences to support your posture. This is to support the daily rigour of carrying babies and running around after children.

You then have the benefit of completing Postnatal Pilates at home at your own pace.
