Nut Butter Bliss Balls
Okay, so this little creation is DELICIOUS, super easy to prepare and with no baking required. All you need is a bowl, a spoon and your hands! I have used Melrose Health’s Chocolate Hazelnut nut butter, but you can use any nut butter you like.. I am going to make them with crunchy peanut butter next! Add extras like crushed nuts and seeds and even protein powder. Keep them in the fridge in a jar for a quick treat any time of the day. This mixture made 10 decent sized balls, but could make more if rolled smaller.
What you’ll need:
1 cup oats (gf oats if needed)
1/2 cup Melrose Chocolate Hazelnut nut butter
or nut butter of choice
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tbsp honey/sweetener of choice
1 tbsp cacao
1 tbsp chia seeds
What you’ll need to do:
- Place oats, coconut, cacao and chia seeds in bowl and mix well.
- Add in nut butter, honey and add half of the coconut oil in and stir.
- As long as the mixture is sticking together to make balls, you might not need to use ¼ cup coconut oil. So just add it in slowly.
- Roll into little balls and roll in cacao nibs or more desiccated coconut!
- Place in fridge for half an hour to set and then ENJOY!! Try not to eat them all at once! Xx
